Feel free to join us for Sunday Worship

  • We gather in a spirit of inclusion, with plenty of room for diversity and difference, for people whose faith has been life-long and people who are searching or just curious.
  • Thinking allowed – thinking aloud allowed.
  • We are people who live the questions of life, trust God’s goodness, and hope for God’s future for all the earth.
  • Our worship acknowledges the spiritual depth of all our relationships – with God, with people, with the earth.

Until early 2024 we also worshipped in Clyde, in St Mungo’s until a pause was made for the winter in 2023 because of concerns with safety of the wiring and then the decision was made that parish resources could not cope with required upgrading to contemporary building standards. A meeting with the community expressed interest in finding options for retaining the site, but unfortunately nothing concrete could be followed up.

On Sunday 2 February 2025 a final service will be held in St Mungo’s to give thanks for all the worship it has been home for since 1894 and give thanks for all the people who have helped warm its heart.

The current faithful people of the the Union Church in Clyde continue to be a presence in the community, sharing parish worship in Alexandra at St Enoch’s and enjoying local gatherings for bible studies and for food and fellowship.
